The Grooves Dance Band performed at my in laws 50th wedding anniversary in Tyler, Texas. The Grooves sounded awesome and really played into the crowd and kept people up and dancing. The Grooves just played for our annual Maritime Gala with a Boots and Bling theme and they were amazing!! They were very easy to work with and had the crowd dancing and singing all night! Ron and the Grooves played at our wedding last month and they were just amazing! From the first email to the day itself, Ron was always on hand to help us get everything organised. The band were the absolute highlight of the wedding reception and kept the dance floor packed with their fun and polished performances. They were so accommodating, helping us to bring together music from our two cultures and to create a wedding reception that truly represented us and brought together all of our friends and family to celebrate with us. From the beginning when I sent my inquiry I knew they would be a group that I would enjoy working with. All communication was timely and friendly. It was clear and all my questions were answered promptly. The prep work was made simple and requests were handled with grace.

On the day of the event, the ensemble showed up as expected, set up in a neat and orderly fashion, and engaged in conversation with other folks that were there and setting up as well. When it was time to perform, ALL expectations were met! The music was the right volume, the songs were fun and festive, they honored the requests I made in song choices prior to the event, and they engaged our audience. There was not a single complaint from any guest and in fact, we had the most compliments we've had about a group since beginning our fundraising event over 10 years ago. A few folks even asked me for their contact information at the event.

We are thankful for their time, their expertise, and the enthusiasm for what they do. We have already asked them to be part of next year's fundraiser! The Grooves is a band that we hope to be in relationship with for years to come.

The Grooves performed for our group of 160 at a country club venue and everyone had a wonderful time. Their energy, talent and singing voices made it difficult to NOT dance and the dance floor remained full to the very end, but even those who did not dance, were treated to some great entertainment for all ages!

The Grooves are awesome! Everyone at our daughter's wedding reception commented on how great the band was - the dance floor was always crowded! Even one of our guests who is musician himself (playing at weddings) thought they were fantastic. They accommodated all special requests and could not have been nicer folks to deal with. We had a magical, rocking wedding thanks to Ron and the Grooves. They were incredible! My uncle is a music producer in LA, so we knew we had to have a great band. The Grooves didn't disappoint! They were excellent in taking in our music preferences ahead of time, professional and so well-equipped. We wanted a lot of country songs, but also Frank Sinatra and classics as well as modern dance favorite. The Grooves are so versatile, they performed them all with ease. It was very special to get to hear all our favorites. Even my uncle (who co-hosts the Grammy's) was impressed!

These guys are first class! If you want the best, you found them. High energy and great people to work with. They definitely get the party started! Thanks for everything.

The Grooves Dance Band MADE our daughter and son-in=law’s wedding reception! The couple did their first dance right after they entered the reception, and The Grooves was so engaging that people started dancing even before dinner was served - including the parents of the bride! They kept it going full charge all night, which made for an amazingly great, fun-filled, unforgettable evening of celebration for the happy couple! Their light show added a lot to the ambiance, too. I can’t recommend The Grooves highly enough!

We hired The Grooves for my husband’s retirement party. They were soooo good! Fun music,got people on the floor.. hiring them was an easy process. We were informed all5h3 way. They catered to our music likes and are very talented musicians!

The Grooves played at our son's wedding last weekend and did a great job. Their setlist was full of audience participation songs and the dance floor was full with couples, families and singles. They definitely play to the crowd and know how to keep the dance floor packed. A great evening and a great choice.

Ron blew me away with his customer service at the beginning of planning my wedding, throughout as he responds very quickly to each and every email, and then sealed the deal the entire wedding day! Our guests loved the band, as they played all the right songs to keep the dance floor PACKED all night long! Being a bride, you love to have a vendor that shows up and shows out and Ron and The Grooves did just that. They were a huge hit, and my husband and I told them at the end of the night that we wish we could have a wedding more than once solely for them to play! We cannot say enough positive things about these guys! Ron MC'ed for us as well, and just knew how the night should flow. He and the band were perfect! You will not be disappointed if you book them.

We had The Grooves perform at our wedding this past weekend. They performed outstandingly. Numerous people that attended loved every moment of every song. “At Last” was the first song sang, and guests thought it was a recording. One guest did inform me that she had chills from the vocalist. The same goes for a bunch of songs. I highly recommend The Grooves to perform at any event you want to party.

We hired The Grooves band for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! Everyone kept telling us how awesome the band was. They truly play to the crowd to try to keep the party going. They have a fairly large song selection too. Our friends and family had the time of their lives. My husband woke up the next morning and told me I had thrown him the best party of his life lol! Ron was so great to work with, very responsive! I can’t say enough good things about this band. The only bad thing of the night was that it ended too soon. We wanted to stay longer! I would hire them 10x over again. If you’re thinking about it, do it. It’s a game changer for any event, especially a wedding!

These guys ROCKED the house at Redberry Estate over the weekend with some great classic and modern music. Very classy, high energy, and funkadelic!

The Grooves are by far the best dance band around. They have played at 2 of our kid’s weddings, and everyone loves them. Ron is very attentive to the requests of his clients, and the energy of the band carries over to the crowd! You won’t be disappointed if you choose The Grooves!!

We had a 50th Anniversary party scheduled in March for my parents and when Covid hit and everything closed down Ron made sure we did not worry that they would work with us on rescheduling. We finally rescheduled for July and we had such a great time. The band checked with us ahead of time for all the plans, they showed up on time and ready to perform, they were so kind and made sure we had a great time. The music was fun and kept the dance floor full. All of our guest loved the band and made sure to comment on them. We would highly recommend The Grooves and would use them again for any event they are fun, full of energy, and sound amazing..

Awesome wedding band! The Grooves really rocked the dance floor at my cousins wedding in Houston at the Houstonian. Love the vocalists. They sounded just like the original artists and the band played all the classic wedding favorites and a good variety of new hits and a few country songs too. Highly recommend!

The Grooves made my 40th birthday party such a blast! They are so talented and played great music that everyone danced the night away to. I highly recommend them as they will help take your party or event to the next level!

The Grooves Dance Band was AMAZING! They played perfectly to our wedding guests and made our reception a blast! They provided a wide variety of song styles and were able to play everything from vintage jazz to modern pop songs. The Grooves were awesome! We had them play our company Christmas Party. They played it all...and had everyone up dancing and have a great time. We cant wait to have them play for us again next year!

Hired this band for a fall festival and they were fabulous!! It was outdoors and cold, they didn't complain once. They did such an amazing job. Each one of their performers were fabulous. Highly recommend The Grooves to anyone looking for a band.

The Grooves played at our daughter's wedding at the end of August. We had never met and/or heard the band in person until the day of her wedding. Our daughter and now husband listened to their clip that was on Gigsalad and the venue also recommended them. We were highly impressed with their vocals as well as their song choices plus the songs that we had requested. They were prompt, professional, and reasonable. If you are searching for a band (not a DJ), we would highly recommend that you seek out this group. We had a wonderful time as did our guests and were very pleased with The Grooves!

We can't say enough positive words about The Grooves! They are absolutely fantastic! Ron was so easy to work with and very responsive to all our questions (even while he was on vacation!). During the reception, our dance floor was packed! We heard so many great comments from our guests such as "they are the best wedding band" and "they're so awesome!" Book them today!!

What an amazing night! The Groves were fan-fabulous! If I heard once, I heard multiple times what a great band we booked. Having the ability to accommodate an age group ranging from 25 years old to 85 years young, playing what was requested, adjusting to the crowd, mixing things up, exceeding my expectations in loudness, softness, having quality singers with superb musicians dressing the part were all factors in our Opa Social being a wonderful success. The quality customer service from the moment of that first inquiry call to the final verbal conversation of ‘thank you’, was not only professional but extremely impressive. Individuals who do not entertain booking The Grooves are missing a reasonably priced wonderful guaranteed fun time experience. Keep being cool.

They played for my sister’s wedding and totally rocked it!! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night! This band is amazing!!! I would highly recommend them to everyone I know! They are the best!

Look no more for Bands!. The Grooves played at our daughter’s reception in the Grand Ball Room at the Adolphus on June 29,2019.
They were fantastic- I checked out all the bands listed on The Knot and WeddingWire - not one could touch The Grooves- if you want a band that will play Any type of music- interact with your guests- keep your friends and family on the dance floor Please give The Grooves a call! You will not be disappointed. We rate them a 10 in every category!

The Grooves Dance Band played for our corporate event at Salt Lick BBQ and they put on a great show! They sang a variety of different songs from country to pop/rock. It was a memorable evening! I will definitely hire them again if ever back in the Austin, TX area.
