We started out playing clubs on the Riverwalk in 1991 and all these years later we’ve rocked just about every major venue in town. We’ve performed at St. Anthony Hotel, San Antonio Country Club, Pearl Stable, Don Strange Ranch, Club Giraud, and the list goes on. From the most casual places to the most classy venues in the city, we’re familiar with them all.
This gives us an advantage in that we know just what to expect when it comes to the acoustics, the size of space, and so on. There are no surprises for us, which means that we can give 110% to entertaining your guests and making sure that everything goes off without a hitch!
Our band plays a variety of event types, as well as many styles of music. The Grooves are not just a top 40 cover band or just a country cover band. We can move seamlessly from one genre to the next and from one decade to the next, which makes us a fantastic fit for all sorts of parties.
Genres we play include pop, country, Latin, classic rock, and more. And we play songs that date as far back as the 50’s and 60’s. In total, we’ve got over 170 songs (and counting) in our repertoire and, unlike bands with predetermined set lists, we choose our songs based on crowd response. That way, everyone has a great time.
