Over the years, we’ve played hundreds of shows throughout Texas at hundreds of different venues. Our familiarity with so many major venues gives you an advantage. It saves you the frustration of not knowing what to expect on the day of your event and watching the band fumble around trying to troubleshoot potential issues.

Live music is a deeply rooted part of Texas culture. Many of its major cities such as Austin and San Antonio are well-known music hubs for diverse groups of talented musicians. Here you’ll find lovers of all genres from rock to R&B to Latin and beyond.
Many successful musicians and bands have gotten their start here including ZZ Top, Beyonce, Pat Green, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Not to mention a grip of popular cover bands, one of which is The Grooves. We’ve been a staple on the Texas music scene since 1991 and are one of the highest-rated live bands in the state.
We’re well-known for our passionate, true-to-the-original covers of some of the most popular songs of our time. Our fun, high energy performances get everyone out on the dance floor when the occasion calls for it.
And for more reserved events such as corporate functions and galas, we provide classy entertainment designed to impress. Our three gorgeous girls sing beautifully and put on fully choreographed shows that make for enjoyable experiences and fantastic memories!
The Grooves band plays a wide range of events but our specialty is wedding receptions. Unlike your typical, cheesy wedding bands, we bring energy, passion, and authenticity to every song we play making it fun for all. We thrive on helping happy couples end their big days with a bang and on helping create great memories of wonderful times with family and friends.
The same goes for other parties we play including bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays, anniversaries, and good old fashioned dance parties. Our sole goal is to make sure that everyone has a fantastic time out on the dance floor.
We also play at corporate events, galas, and fundraising events. For these types of events, the goal is to entertain and to make a lasting impression with the high-end, professional, classy feel of our performances.
We don’t just play this genre or that genre from this decade or that decade. Our talent and passion for music surpass labels.
We play everything from 50’s and 60’s hits to today’s pop to everything in between. Our ability to play authentic covers of country, Motown, swing, Latin, rock, and other hits makes us an excellent choice for just about any type of event.
Not only do we have more than 170 songs to choose from, but we also play our sets based on crowd response rather than having a list of songs set in stone. It’s like a double guarantee that there’ll be music everyone can enjoy!
